Construction

The Fender Classic Player 60's Stratocaster is Fender's recreation of the classic 60's era guitar. It Features an Alder body which is robust and solid whilst also providing great resonance and sustain and being lightweight. Joined to the body you have the classic maple neck with a comfortable C shape profile which provides ampul grip from the nut to the body joint. Sat atop of the maple neck is a Pau Ferro Fretboard, Pau Ferro is a close relative of the rosewood we all know and are used to whilst feeling and sounding no different. The fretboard sports 21 medium jumbo frets, with a 12" radius to feel comfortable and smooth playing form the first to the last fret.

Electronics & Hardware

The Fender Classic Player 60's Stratocaster comes fitted with a set of Custom Shop 69' Pickups fitted. These pickups provide you with a vintage voiced low output tone which is ideal for re-creating the classic 60's sound with ease. You have a 3 single coil configuration with a 5-way blade switch giving you the options of: Bridge, Middle & Bridge, Middle, Middle & Neck, and Neck. With warmer tones coming from the neck and the classic Stratocaster 'spanky' tone coming from the bridge as well as the positions in between you can achieve a massive variation of sounds. On top of these variations you also have a master volume knob and also two independent tone controls one for the neck and one for the middle pickup. Fitted to the body you have Fenders 2-point synchronised tremolo system, due to only rotating off of two attached points this system is known for holding tuning much better than your standard 6 point system and allows for a smooth tremolo effect.
