Construction

The Fender American Standard Stratocaster has long been the favourite of the gigging musician. They are not only reliable and robust but are suitable for a wide variety of styles and produce an iconic and instantly recognisable sound. The body is made up of high quality Alder which is a widely used Tone wood for electric guitars due to it being lightweight, durable and also its resonant qualities. The body is finished in a classy gloss black finish to not only protect the wood but add an element of style. Joined to the body you have a solid feeling maple neck. The neck is cut to the ever popular Modern C shape which feels snug in your hands without being too chunky. Sat a top of the maple neck is a traditional Rosewood fretboard, now very rare on Fender guitars due to CITIES and importing it, grab yourself one of the last new fender guitars to use this wood.

Electronics & Hardware

The Fender American Standard Stratocaster comes fitted with a set of Custom Shop Fat 50s single coil pickups. These pickups produce a warm rounded tone. in the neck position you have a warm and smooth tone which slides well into any mix, the neck and middle position adds a bit extra mid range allowing for an extra bit of cut to your tone, The middle, middle and bridge and bridge positions add more of a crispness to the sound allowing you to cut through the mix of a live band with easy and the bridge position provides you with that classic Fender bell like twang which is ideal for funk or old school blues. To keep the guitar in tune you have a 1-point synchronised tremolo system, this allows for smooth tremolo action without affecting to tuning of the guitar.
