Pacifica Standard Plus guitars were designed for players of all types seeking their own unique sounds. The PACS+12 delivers exceptional sound and playability, and its four new finish options are infused with sun-drenched Southern California vibes. Yamaha Acoustic Design technology provides a well-balanced response, while Reflectone pickups co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs produce clear and articulate tones. The HSS pickup configuration and 5-way selector, combined with a coil-split switch, offer countless variations. Additional features include a newly designed alder body, a slim C-shape maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and medium stainless-steel frets, and Gotoh locking tuners. A padded gig bag is included.

Reflectone Pickups:

With traditional pickup manufacturing methods, there is a trade off between the power of the bass and the brightness of the treble. This development project aimed to create a pickup that has both a powerful bass response and sparkling treble frequencies, with overall clarity being a priority. Yamaha and RND achieved this goal, resulting in a set of pickups that provide a versatile, wide, and clear response suitable for a plethora of musical styles and playing techniques. Pacifica Professional and Standard Plus feature HSS Reflectone pickup configurations with 5-way selector switches and coil split functionality for the bridge humbucker. This versatile layout combined with Reflectones wide frequency response range means that guitarists can craft their own unique sounds.
