The KROME EX 73 is expanded upon the original KROME workstation with the addition of a re-designed cabinet and brand new sounds based around a selection of todays current EDM styles, Hollywood movies and ethnic selections. Combined with the built in 16 track MIDI sequencer, the new sounds, sleek looks and large colour screen interface, the KROME 73 EX an all round creative musical tool.

No matter what piece of music you want to perform, create or record, the sound source is the essential key in giving you the result you want. The Korg KROME EX 73 has been developed to offer virtually every sound you could ever need at the highest quality. Additional new PCM data has opened up a host of new sounds for you to get working with straight from the box.
From the beginning the German grand piano sound of the original KROME was magnificent - derived form the flasghip KRONOS model. Piano sounds are part of the essentials when it comes to sound so Korg have added brand new essential grand pianos and upright pianos to the already impeccable selection on board.
As well as new pianos, Korg have packed the KROME EX 73 full of sounds perfect for the music of today and the future. Top class EDM sounds, synth leads and bass, real drums, Hollywood movie style sounds, orchestral and more have been added to the sound selection with boosted PCM memory. Fro the box there are 896 Programs and 512 Preload Combinations to choose from.
Dual Arpeggiators
Spice up your performance or get inspired by the dual polyphonic arpeggiators. By playing just a few notes you can trigger guitar strums, bass and lead riffs, advanced patterns and more. Use the patterns to bring to life ideas and complex phrases with ease or even tweak and make your own and store them in user slots.
Record, Create and Master Songs
The in-built 16 track sequencer system offers every tool you need to record, create and master your musical creations. Starting with the basic 16 track recorder you can layer and overdub tracks with ease. Up to 5 effect can be assigned to individual tracks to enhance and create your ideal sound. There are loop features, quantization, cut and paste and all the tools you could ever need. There is even a piano roll editor for modifying notes in an easy to view grid you would only normally expect to find in computer programs.
RPPR is a great feature allowing you to create loops/ patterns and then trigger them at the touch of a single key. You can piece together your favourite ideas, bass lines and chords and assign them to single keys so you can perform with the pre-recorded phrases live!
Large Touchscreen Interface
Operation and access to all the powerful features is done through the large colour touchview interface. Its smooth resposne and clear graphics make accessing even the finest details or parameters fast and intuitive.
