Construction

This Vintera series guitar is cut to the classic Stratocaster shape, made of ash which has chiming highs, a well defined midrange and strong low end. Ash is widley used on a variety of Fender guitars over the years due to its fantastic tonal properties and rigidness. Joined to the body you have a classic maple neck, this is cut to a soft V neck profile. This profile is based off of a late 50s V profile to stick to the vintage design but has been slightly rounded off to provide a comfortable feel and ampul grip. Sat a top the maple neck is period accurate maple fretboard hosting 21 vintage-style frets, a 7.25" radius fingerboard which provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument.

Pickups & Electronics

The Vintera series 50s strat comes fitted with a unique set of pickups specifically designed for this guitar. It has 3 vintage voiced single coils which have been designed from the ground up to be as as close to the original 50s strat pickups as possible. They produce a true crystalline bell-like tone which is what put fender on the map of the guitar world. These fantastic sounding pickups are controlled by two tone controls, one which controls the neck and middle position pickup, one for the bridge and a master volume control. To switch between the pickups you have a 5-position blade switch.
