The Technics PX552 digital piano is an affordable musical instrument. The natural response action conveys the nuances of a player’s touch, evoking a subtle tone and clarity of a concert grand from pianissimo to fortissimo. The rich beautiful sound is faithfully reproduced by the PX552‘s advanced speaker system. Technics Dynamic Acoustics Technology recreates the sound of a concert grand. Highly regarded for it’s incredible realism, Technics Dynamic Acoustics technology is based on PCM (pulse code modulation - whatever that is) recordings of a world class concert grand piano after it has been meticulously tuned and adjusted. It is sampled (recorded) at several dynamic levels across the keyboard in order to capture the variations in sound.
