The brain of the Roland TD6KX is the TD6V Percussion Sound Module, the same stylish module that powers the TD6KW. So what's different about this new kit? Well, better snare and tom pads for a start! The TD6KX includes Roland’s popular PD105BK 10" mesh V-Pad for the snare, featuring dual-trigger capability for playing separate head and rim sounds. Three PD85BK 8" mesh V-pads for the toms offer a natural feel for more expressive play.
On top of this vast improvement, Roland have also given drummers three great V-Cymbal pads; the new CY12R/C is not only larger and more responsive, but enables separate bell triggering. The FD8 Hi-Hat Controller has a very realistic hi-hat sound with smooth transitions between open and closed. And all of this mounts conveniently onto the very chic MDS6C rack
