Sometimes, playing a copy just isn't enough. Comparing a chinese made stratocaster to a real deal "made in America" guitar proves this.
So when you come to look at getting your first superstrat or upgrading from that cheap piece of junk you got through a friend of a friend Jackson should be your first port of call. They've been doing it since 1982. Longer than anyone else!
The principle of a superstrat is to take what Fender did with the standard stratocaster, rip out it's guts and throw in the biggest, best and most powerful components you can find. Much like how the Americans build their supercars!
Well, that's what happened back in 1982 and the Jackson soloist was born two years later, going on to become the standard by which all other superstrats were and still are judged.
Now, Jackson has an impressive range of guitars and bass guitars in it's product lists, and with most of their guitars shipping with highend equipment such as Floyd Rose locking tremelo and high-output pickups as standard, you're going to find it difficult to find a Jackson which doesn't meet your approval!
