Warranty - Fender American Series Strat
Fender musical instruments warranties the American Strat free from all defects in materials and workmanship for as the strat is owned by the original purchaser. except for pickups switches and jack socketsTruss Rod - Fender American Series Strat
Each Fender Strat is carefully adjusted at the Fender factory. the truss rod and string height are set for optimum action and playability with medium gauge strings. Under normal tension the strat neck should have a slight concave curvature, by creating a counteracting force the truss rod prevents the neck from bending excessively under the stress caused by the strings.
When you purchase you first American deluxe Strat
don't be suprised if it isn't set up to factory standards. It is natural for the Guitar to alter slighty with changes in temperature and humidity. Fender American Stratcasters have numerous points of adjustment that will allow you to compensate for the changes in playing action that occur between final assembly at the Fender factory and you receiving the strat. Each American Strat comes with an owners manual giving details on adjustment, setup and maintenance, that will allow you to return the Strat to it's optimum performance.
Series / Parrallel
A series/parallel switch changes the wiring of the pickups on the Fender Deluxe Stratocaster to produce sound variations. The UP position puts the pickups in a parallel configuration giving clear bell like tones. The Down position puts the pickups in a series position producing more ( or hotter ) output with a lot more bottom end.Fender LSR Nut
The Fender LSR nut is the ultimate low friction nut available. Each string is supported by a pair of hardened steel ball bearings. This provides nearly friction free operation.the ball bearings are housed in a stainless steel case that is resistant to corrosion and very durable. A stainless steel retainer cage surrounds the ball bearings to keep them in place when the strings are removed.. Rubber mountings behind the ball bearings stop any unwanted string vibrations. Along the front edge of the of the frame are string guides tos keep the strings in position under extreme bending.Fender Deluxe Locking Tremolo
The Fender DeluxeLocking Tremolo sytsem is a combination opf locking and non locking systems. The deluxe strat makes use of a locking bridge locking tuners and the Fender LSR roller nuts. This system retains normal locking at the headstock as a non locking system due to the free length of string between the nut and the tuners. The tonality is also very similar to the non locking system.
