The bane of many a guitarist and their spouse/family/pet's (delete as applicable) lives has been the volume involved when practicing their chops.

Not so any more! With the Alesis X-Guitar, you can have a stage, studio or practice guitar in one! With it's line level output, this guitar can be plugged into a set of headphones for silent practice or hooked upto a home stereo to create your own home performance!

Performing guitarists will be aware of the misery of carting around large ammounts of equipment. The X-Guitar will manage to alleviate some of the burden with it's built in FX units. Ranging from the humble distortion unit to weird and wonderful phaser and flanger effects this guitar has a plethora of different sounds available. All of the FX can be controlled by a scratch-plate mounted toggle switch. With 80 factory presets and the ablity to edit them this guitar's versatility is something to be admired.

The guitar also comes equipped with a bridge position humbucker, two stacked single coil pickups and a five way selector switch, rosewood fret board, with a smooth maple neck. A built in chromatic tuner and a comfortable weight of 7.5lbs.

Not content with all of this, Alesis then decided to throw in an expansion pack, wihich includes a gig bag, a lead, a set of headphones, an expression pedal (which when plugged into the guitar allows control over wha-wha style effects) This guitar will also run for 30 hours with 4 alkaline AA batteries.and last but not least it includes a strap!
