Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Electric Guitar - Walnut Satin

The body consists of a laminated maple top, back and sides that work with a spruce centre block to deliver a clear and versatile tone. The body is finished off with white binding with black purfling that really take you back to the vintage Gretsch-era. Joined to the body you have a solid nato neck complete with a bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets and large pearloid block inlays, not only making this guitar look and sound fantastic but feel amazing. You will be able to play for hours on end with the smooth feeling bound neck.

The G2622 comes fitted with the brand new Broad'Tron hum bucking pickups, specifically designed by Gretsch for the Streamliner series. The pickups are designed with players in mind and allow for great clarity, warmth and depth of tone, making these pickups fantastic for a wide variety of styles, In the neck position you have great warmth and rolling off the tone slightly gives you a great classic jazz sound. In the bridge position you have the classic twang for your Rock'n'roll and country styles. To control the pickups you have 2 independent volume controls one for each pickup, 3-way toggle switch, a master tone and a master volume control. This setup allows you to set different pickup volume levels and switch between them without losing the previous volume on the alternative pickup.
