Expand your recording potential and improve your sound quality with the Focusrite Octopre MKII. 8 Channels of award winning mic preamps in a single rack mount unit making the Octopre MKII the ideal multi-channel recording add-on for any Focusrite interface.

Each channel of the Octopre MKII has a gain control knob on the front fascia for fast and convenient input level control. There is also a 5 level LED monitor which shows the input level of every channel simultaneously for optimising your recording levels.

The Octopre MKII has been fitted with a 10db pad switch on each and every channel to helps prevent hot signals from overdriving the preamp. This simple solution makes the Octopre MKII perfect for recording drums live where unexpected high input levels will not destroy your recording quality.

Focusrite have been kind enough to fit a direct output connection on each channel of the Octopre MKII. This means not only can you record audio direct into your DAW through the ADAT connection but each channel of audio can also be routed to another device for external processing, recording or your mixer for live performance.

The Octopre MKII has 2x ADAT Lightpipe (TOSLINK) outputs. This provides 8 channels per port (16 total) at 44.1 and 48kHz. Provide 4 channels per port (8 total) at 88.2 and 96kHz (S-MUX).

Established in 1983 A&C Hamilton Musical Instruments maintains a healthy balance of traditional business values with a keen sense for new business ideas. Getting new customers and keeping existing customers are equally important to us. As the internet has changed all our lives we continue to grow from strength to strength applying the tried and trusted methods of traditional retail sales to this new world of internet sales and store sales. The world is a smaller place but we are all still individuals within it. It is so much more fun selling to some one you can have a chat with, either email phone or in the shop than just sending boxes via couriers. Our company has a solid financial basis to trade and all premises are owned in full by the directors.

Our Music Shop is on the outskirts of Preston with forecourt parking for 8 cars. Our closest town is Blackpool and nearby is Lytham St Annes. Blackburn and Southport are close by. Lancaster, Morecambe, Wigan, Burnley, Ormskirk, Bolton, Leigh, Accrington are also near me. Manchester Liverpool and Cumbria are around an hour away.
