Fender FSR Aerodyne Stratocaster Made in Japan - Vintage White

Limited to only small numbers the FSR Japan Aerodyne stratocaster mixes a mass of new features and spec not normally associated with a strat

Construction

Starting with an extremely lightweight and durable Basswood body, contoured to allow for maximum comfort and also cut to a super start-like shape to help it stand out from the crowd. The body also has black binding around the edges of the body and a curved top not normally associated with a fender Strat. Joined to the body we have a bolt-on maple neck cut to a very comfortable slim C profile to allow for fantastic flow whilst playing up and down the neck. You also have a shorter scale length of 24.75" rather than a starts usual 25.5" which lessens some of the tension on the neck allowing for smoother playing and less reach. To finish off the neck you have 22 medium jumbo frets on a 95." radius rosewood fretboard to allow for great grip and confidence when bending notes.

Electronics

Starting off with the HSS pickup configuration, having a humbugger in the bridge position allows for even more versatility as you can now play anything unto death metal without having to worry about any feedback or hum from your amplifier. The humbucker that comes as standard is a custom designed Dragster BB humbucker which can pump out anything from smooth jazz and funk to classic rock and heavy metal, with a modest output and great clarity you can't go wrong. Matched with the humbucker in the middle and neck position you have two ST single-Coils, these are great for that classic stratocaster sound we have all come to know and love.
